Hello Everyone,
We have received quite bit of interest in a beginner’s class.
We are excited about this endeavor and look forward to it!!!

Details:
The class will consist of 4 sessions – two hours each session.

The start date would be Tuesday, April 21st
The next session Tuesday, April 28th
Next session Tuesday, May 5th
Last session Tuesday, May 12th

The classes will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm.

The sessions will be held at the St. Eugene Mission Resort.
In the St. Mary’s Room.

Requirements and supplies for this course:
-Any model of camera as long as it contains basic manual function capabilities.
-Notebook and pen.
-The ability to burn your own photos onto a CD or DVD to bring for presentation in class and this includes a willingness to share your photos and discuss them in front of the class.
-I would also suggest bringing yourself some kind of drink or refreshment as well.

Course Outline:
Session 1: Lessons for the beginning photographer on a basic understanding of the most important mechanics and features of their camera. Techniques and ideas on getting clear solid shots.

Session 2: A huge portion of photography is about light! This session will explore the importance of lighting in photography and how to always use it to your advantage.

Session 3: Creativity and Composition – the rules you need to know before you break them! : )

Session 4: Is all about you! Learning from our own photographs is one of the most important ways to learn – this whole session will be spent looking through and discussing your photographs.

The minimum attendance required for this course to run will be 12 students – the maximum will be 15 students – if we have more interest than this we will try and run another course directly after this one.

The cost for the course will be $150.00 per person.
(We are sorry that the cost could not be lower but we needed to factor in the cost of the venue and the equipment)

So we have had a couple of requests for photography classes but were thinking that we would need to know how much serious interest that there was… We have considered the possibility of doing a beginner’s class and then also a more advanced class. If anyone out there is interested in either of these options please just respond here with a comment on this post, or on our Facebook site or even just directly to our email.  Let us know if you are interested, what times and days of the week work best for you and any other suggestions or thoughts you might have. Your responses will give us a good idea of what kind of interest is out there and whether or not it would be worthwhile for us to hold some classes. : )

Your twins are SO beautiful – I’m sure you’ve heard this a million times in the past month! : )  It was so much fun to photograph them, thank-you for hiring me again! They are honestly some of the most content babies I have ever photographed – so calm – makes for easy photography, ha ha! I really hope that you and your extended families enjoy these photos!

You and your daughter were so great! Thanks for being willing to climb in windows, hang upside down on chairs and sit inside a very messy teepee – you guys were so much fun!!! I’m really glad we were able to do this shoot and I hope that you will enjoy having some new updated pictures of the two of you together.  : )

You little girl is the cutest thing ever! Thank-you for letting me photograph her again – it is so fun to see how much she has grown in a year. I love that she would walk right up to the camera and poke her nose in for the photo, laughing all the while, and that she wasn’t the least bit camera shy! Thank-you for playing so much with her during the photo shoot – you guys were great – the photos just seem to capture all of this fun! I hope you enjoy. : )
